On March 27, 2006, in Yekaterinburg, on Uralskaya Street, a crowd of young people (according to right-wing radical sites - up to 20 people), armed with bats, smashed the stalls in the market.
Merchants believe that the pogrom occurred because of their nationality, because. the majority of those working in the market come from the southern republics. Having destroyed the stalls, the attackers moved towards the night parking lot, where they beat up a young man - a security guard, also non-Russian. The victim is in city hospital N 23.
The police have not yet commented on the incident, but there is evidence that some suspects of involvement in this case were detained while patrolling.
