Skinhead raid in the Moscow metro

In connection with the attack on an NTV correspondent in the subway, the National News Agency (ANN) published an article in which it drew readers' attention to the fact that "raids" of skinheads on the Moscow subway are no longer news. They occur quite regularly in a well-established pattern. ANN gives the testimony of a girl who witnessed one of these raids, probably one of the last in time.

In early April 2006, in the subway at the Taganskaya metro station (radial) a group of 15-20 shaven-headed teenagers, looking about 16-17 years old, dressed in black jackets and high boots, went into the train car, shouting the slogans " Russia for Russians" .

Divided into groups, young people began to "patrol" the car. A few people remained at the door, while the rest walked along the car, looking into faces. After the "inspection", they got off at the bus stop and entered the next car. (Note that the "patrolling" scheme is very similar to the episode of September 2004, when were beaten in the subway) several people of "non-Slavic appearance"

There were several girls among the skinheads. Most had black scarves over their faces, so only their eyes were visible.

The policeman in the transition to the metro station "Taganskaya" (radial) did not react to the passing group.

Commenting on this episode, the Metro Police Department said "We are taking appropriate measures, identifying and detaining groups of aggressive youth. PDN (commission on minors - approx. ANN ) conducts educational work with adolescents . "
