A student from Tuva was killed in Moscow

On April 8, 2006, 19-year-old Chechek Yumbuu, a first-year student at the Moscow State Linguistic Institute named after. Maurice Thorez, from the Republic of Tuva. Her body was discovered on April 9, 2006 in a vacant lot on Maryinsky Park Street.

As a forensic medical examination established, the girl died from a closed craniocerebral injury. A purse with documents and a player were found on the deceased. Various versions of the crime are being worked out.

In connection with the death of the girl, the prosecutor's office of the South-Eastern Administrative District opened a criminal case under Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm resulting in death”). Law enforcement agencies do not yet consider the nationalist version as the main one. An investigation is underway. State Duma deputy Chylgychy Ondar is preparing an official request to the prosecutor's office.
