An anti-fascist picket took place in Moscow

On April 12, 2006, a sanctioned anti-fascist picket was held in Moscow on Pushkin Square, in which about 70 people took part. The participants gathered to draw public attention to the growing number of murders on "ethnic" grounds, as well as to the inaction of the authorities in solving this problem.

The action was organized by the anti-war committee (which unites various organizations advocating an end to the war in Chechnya). The picket participants held posters with slogans: "Without attempts to combine morality and politics, other problems cannot be solved" , "With the connivance of the authorities, non-humans of all stripes have matured" , "A person who hates another people does not love his own" , "Racism is the lot of primitive savages" etc.

During the action, anti-fascists collected signatures under an appeal to President Putin. The picket ended at 19:00.
