A student from Malaysia was beaten in Nizhny Novgorod

" As reported in the press service of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the region, "the foreigner was hospitalized with a traumatic brain injury . "

According to the head of the press service, Alexander Gorbatov, "the student cannot yet tell the law enforcement agencies what happened, how many attackers there were, and describe the signs . " At the same time, he noted that the condition of the young man does not cause serious concern - "he is conscious, he can speak . "

Operatives are looking for witnesses to the incident, interrogate the administration of the hostel. The criminal case, the police department noted, "will be initiated after a conversation with the victim . "

Fellow students of the victim say that this is the second attack on foreign students in the last three days.

According to law enforcement agencies, today there are two large groups of skinheads operating in Nizhny Novgorod, which have not yet shown themselves to be "openly hostile towards foreigners" , but they conduct training camps in country camps, where they practice hand-to-hand combat skills and actions of combat groups in conditions of mass riots .
