On April 17, 2006, in Samara, FSB officers detained Danila Vanchaev, an anti-draft campaign activist, on the street and took him to the Oktyabrsky district prosecutor's office.
In the prosecutor's office, Vanchaev was questioned on the fact of insulting the President of the Russian Federation and the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, which, according to law enforcement agencies, took place at a rally on February 23, 2006.
The action of interest to the prosecutor's office was a happening: Commander-in-Chief Putin and Defense Minister Ivanov sawed off Private Sychev's legs with a two-handed saw.
