Everyone who came to the Orthodox church in Grozny for Easter received a thousand rubles from the Chechen government

On behalf of the head of the government of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, everyone who came to the Church of the Archangel Michael in Grozny on Easter was given one thousand rubles by members of the organizing committee for the celebration of Easter. "In total, the parish council of the church presented lists for 730 people, and money was given to each of them. Funds for about 200 people who are sick and elderly were delivered to their homes," R. Kadyrov told Interfax .

According to him, “at the expense of government funds, all Christian cemeteries located in Grozny and regions of the republic were put in perfect order. The government also allocated funds for a trip to Grozny, stay here and on the way back to all Orthodox former residents of Chechnya who wished to Easter to arrive in Grozny and visit the graves of relatives."
