An anti-fascist rally took place in Tyumen

On April 22, 2006 in Tyumen, a group of activists from the human rights center "ShizLong" held an anti-fascist picket on the central square under the slogans "Stop fascism", "Skinheads on trial", "Being a fascist is a shame", "Neo-fascism - where are the authorities looking?" etc.

During the picket, a conflict arose between its participants and the communists, who were holding their own event nearby. The communists expressed outrage at some of the anti-fascist propaganda materials, in particular, the list under the heading "Wanted for crimes against humanity" , which the anti-fascists kept along with slogans and which, in addition to Hitler, Stalin and Mussolini, included President Putin, as well as leaflets with visual materials about Ichkeria and the USSR after the war, written in the same vein.

Some representatives of the communists tried to tear up the posters and called the picketers "enemies of the people" . Later, people who introduced themselves as law enforcement officers appeared and demanded that the event be ended. The head of the center and the organizer of the action "ShizLong" Dmitry Yamshchikov was taken to the police station.
