According to an eyewitness, for about a minute, the skinheads severely beat their victim, while the blows were applied mainly to the head area. Part of the group at that time remained on the platform, and part held the car doors.
The beating stopped when the driver tried to move the train (presumably, one of the passengers managed to contact him by radio), after which the skinheads quickly retreated. While moving to the next station, fellow travelers tried to provide first aid to the victim, who was unconscious and covered in blood. At the station "Barrikadnaya" the man was taken out of the car, an ambulance and the police were called.

The information department of the Moscow Main Internal Affairs Directorate could neither confirm nor deny the information about the incident, saying that this case had not been reported to them in operational reports. It was not possible to find out the circumstances of the incident in the Department of Internal Affairs for the protection of the subway.
