On April 22, 2006, a sanctioned anti-fascist picket was held in Tyumen, where one of its organizers, the head of the ShizLong human rights center, Dmitry Yamshchikov, was detained.
Shortly after the start of the rally, people who introduced themselves as law enforcement officers demanded to end the event, detained D. Yamshchikov and escorted him to the police station, and during the arrest "they used force, despite the absence of resistance" .
On behalf of "ShizLong" a complaint was sent to the prosecutor's office in connection with the disruption of the picket, abuse of power and unjustified violence, the correspondent of the website UralPolit.Ru reports.
