On the night of April 24-25, 2006, about 100 ethnic Armenians living in Moscow came to the intersection of Novy Arbat and the Garden Ring, blocking traffic, protesting against the conclusions of the investigation into the murder of 17-year-old Vigen Abramyants .
The indignation of the Armenians was caused by the version of the investigation that the deceased molested the girl in the subway, for which he was. A lawyer representing the interests of the injured party claims that he could not afford anything like that. The protesters believe that the investigation is trying to hide the "national" motive for the crime.
Also, the rally participants were outraged by the attack on Mikayel Dovlatyan.
Nothing is known about the detained participants of the unauthorized action.
