Kemerovo student was convicted for posting an article on a website

On April 26, 2006, the Leninsky District Court of Kemerovo sentenced Kemerovo University student Konstantin Strokolsky to 2 years of probation with a probationary period of one year under Art. 280 part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“public calls for extremist activities using the media”) and art. 282 part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("incitement of hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity").

The criminal case was initiated by the regional prosecutor's office based on the materials of the Federal Security Service for the Kemerovo region. According to the prosecutor's office, according to NEWSru.com, NBP member K. Strokolsky wanted to change the political system that currently exists in the Russian Federation.

Strokolsky was found guilty of having posted on his website a material about the NBP called "The Most Constructive Party", the author of which Alexander Nikolaenko was convicted for its publication in the Kurs newspaper.

K. Strokolsky himself believes that "he broke down and did not pass this test" , calls himself weak-willed and timid.

“All my cooperation came down to telling me how I registered the site and posted the article ,” he said. “ And I am a witness in the recently opened case against Ilya Ivanov, who is accused of distributing the Shturm newspaper. betrayal, I myself believe that Ivanov is not guilty. ... This is just the neutralization of party activists ," the Bankfax news agency reports with reference to the REGNUM news agency.
