Anti-Semitic inscription in the center of Saransk

At the beginning of May 2006 in the center of Saransk (Mordovia) on the wall of the building of the Republican Museum of Fine Arts on the street. An inscription of anti-Semitic content was found by the Communist.

The inscription "Death to the Jews!" applied by unknown black red on the stone blocks that make up the ground floor of the museum. According to eyewitnesses, the inscription appeared "some time ago" , it was reported to law enforcement agencies and the city administration, but no measures have yet been taken to remove it.

Previously, such acts of vandalism have already been recorded in a small square behind the museum building - Soviet-era sculptures were also painted with black paint images of the swastika and made anti-Semitic inscriptions. The perpetrators have not yet been identified.
