Warning from Rosokhrankultura to the newspaper "Russian Club"

In January 2006, the Primorsky Department of Rosokhrankultura issued a warning to the Russian Club newspaper (an organ of the public organization of the same name ) for publishing xenophobic and extremist materials.

Rosokhrankultura considered that the article "Silence of Russian Lambs", published in August 2005, contained statements inciting national hatred and degrading the dignity of a number of ethnic groups, and the article "Kemskaya volost", published in the same issue of the newspaper, contained calls for violent change of the constitutional order.

According to him, control over such publications is difficult because they are published extremely irregularly. Thus, to file a lawsuit to liquidate a publication for promoting extremism and xenophobia, three warnings are needed within a year, but some right-wing media outlets are published so rarely that they simply do not have enough warnings.
