French citizen beaten in Moscow

May 27, 2006 in Moscow on the street. Tverskoy a group of young people, presumably skinheads (according to various sources, from 7 to 10 people) beat up a black citizen of France, Pierre Ern. Seven suspects in the attack were detained and taken to the 83rd police station. Young people filmed the beating of a foreigner on a mobile phone. The victim suffered bodily injuries of moderate severity and a tooth was knocked out.

It should be noted that a French citizen was beaten by skinheads who gathered in front of the city hall waiting for participants in an unauthorized action of sexual minorities. However, without waiting for the participants of the action, they attacked a black man who was passing by. It should also be noted that the Russian National Union (RONS), the Slavic Union (SS), the Union of Orthodox Banner Bearers, the Movement Against Illegal Immigration (DPNI), right-wing radicals from Tula (presumably the Zasechny Frontier) took part in the action of homophobes . According to the statements of the right-wing radicals themselves, activists of the People's National Party (PNP) also took part in the action. Among those present, well-known national radicals I. Artemov, N. Kuryanovich, A. Belov, A. Simonovich-Niksic and others were noticed.

According to some reports, some of the right-wing radicals, opponents of the gay parade, were going to organize pogroms in two or three nightclubs where black music concerts were announced. However, for various reasons, including reinforced police squads, the pogroms did not take place.
