An Armenian was killed on a train near Moscow

May 25, 2006 at about 11 p.m. 19-year-old Artur Sardaryan, a Russian citizen of Armenian descent, a native of Azerbaijan, was killed in a commuter train car from Moscow to Sofrino.

A young man was returning home in Pushkino on the last train, was sitting near the exit and reading a book, when an unknown person unexpectedly attacked him from behind and with the words "Glory to Russia!" stabbed him in the neck with a knife, and then several more stabs in the region of the heart, after which he ran out of the car.

About 20 passengers witnessed the murder. Before the incident, some of them noticed two young people aged 22-25, usually dressed and "not with skinheads", in the vestibule of the car, who were carefully looking at the passengers. When the train was passing the Klyazma station, one of those standing in the vestibule pulled the stop-cock and stopped the train, while the other at that moment ran into the car and killed A. Sardaryan. After that, both jumped out of the car onto the platform and disappeared.

The driver of the electric train (who was contacted by the passengers of the car where the murder took place) immediately called the police and an ambulance, but it was not possible to save the young man - the first stab hit the carotid artery, and death occurred instantly.
