On May 31, 2006, an anti-fascist action "Graffiti of Nizhny Novgorod" took place in Nizhny Novgorod, which became a continuation of the "Colors of Nizhny" action - to paint over the city walls from extremist and nationalist inscriptions and symbols.

The Nizhny Graffiti project was initiated by: Non-profit partnership "Theatre of Change", Nizhny Novgorod regional public organization "Society of Jewish Culture "Zvi Girsh", International Organization of Jewish Women "Project Kesher", Nizhny Novgorod Volunteer Service and Nizhny Novgorod Social and Psychological Center "Doverie".
