Participants in a seminar on “anti-globalist” actions were detained in St. Petersburg

June 5, 2006 at the St. Petersburg stadium. Kirov, as part of the preparations for the G8 summit, an open seminar "The experience of Western European anti-globalists in radical actions" was held.

After the end of the event, in which activists of the National Bolshevik Party also took part, buses with riot police drove up to the park near the stadium, and the riot police began to detain the National Bolsheviks, and the detentions were accompanied by beatings.

In total, 12 (according to other sources 15) people were detained, who were taken to 71 police stations.

The detainees spent three hours at the police station: their passport data was copied and they took written commitments not to participate in extremist actions during the summit. After that, everyone was released.

However, the NBP-Info website reports that two people have been left in custody.
