Attack in the Moscow metro

On June 21, 2006, in Moscow, at the Pushkinskaya metro station, where the Armenian youth Vigen Abrahamyants was killed on April 22, at about 10:00 pm several young people attacked a 16-year-old teenager and stabbed him, after which they fled.

The teenager was taken to the intensive care unit of the Sklifosovsky Institute in serious condition. Eyewitnesses of the incident claim that the attackers, whose number is not specified, were skinheads, and speak of the nationalistic nature of the attack.

At the same time, the Moscow Main Internal Affairs Directorate refutes these allegations, stating that the fight at the Pushkinskaya metro station was of a domestic nature, and only two people took part in it. “During the fight, one of the participants was stabbed in the arm and was taken to a medical center, while the other was detained and taken to the fifth department of the Internal Affairs Directorate at the Metropolitan,” the police department reported.

Unfortunately, the contradictions in information about the incident on Pushkinskaya (severity of injuries, number of attackers) have not yet been clarified.
