Threats to the leader of the St. Petersburg NBP

On June 26, 2006, Andrey Dmitriev, the leader of the St. Petersburg branch of the National Bolshevik Party, came to the 18th department of the Organized Crime Control Department of St. Petersburg for a conversation on the agenda handed in at the place of work.

In the office of the head of department A. Chernopyatov, A. Dmitriev met the head of the department himself and a man and a woman who introduced themselves as "operatives from Moscow sent to ensure order during the G-8 summit" (those present addressed the man as "comrade general").

Chernopyatov left the office, the "operatives" demanded that Dmitriev write an appeal to the members of the NBP with a proposal not to organize or participate in any mass events during the G-8 summit in St. Petersburg, as well as an obligation that he and other members of the NBP will leave the city for this time, and put it on the Internet.

Dmitriev refused, after which they began to exert psychological and physical pressure on him. So, writes A. Dmitriev, he was told the following: “We don’t have time to “sew” you a criminal case, like Popkova . We will just take you out of the city and kill you. Do you remember what happened to Bakhur ? He survived, and we will do it that you won't survive . "

Threats of this kind continued throughout the three-hour conversation, Dmitriev said.

After visiting the UBOP, A. Dmitriev wrote a statement to the city prosecutor's office in connection with threats against him from law enforcement agencies. Dmitriev asks the prosecutor's office to identify the citizens who threatened him, bring them to justice, and take measures to ensure his personal safety and the safety of other members of the NBP during the preparation and holding of the summit.
