Nationalist rally prevented in Moscow

On July 9, 2006, in Moscow, in the Strogino district, law enforcement officers prevented a nationalist action from taking place.

Several dozen skinhead young people gathered in the park to hold a rally against migrants. However, the police did not allow this action to take place. About 60 people, including the leader of the "Slavic Union" Dmitry Demushkin, were detained and taken to the Strogino, Tushchinskoye and Shchukinskoye police departments in Moscow. Later, almost all of them were released.
