Case under Art. 282 against Pavel Mitrofanov

In July 2007 in St. Petersburg, a criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Art. 282 against the national-patriotic activist Pavel Mitrofanov (report about this was published in issue 4 (28) of the newspaper "Russian Front" for 2006. (published by the Union of Officers S. Terekhov, jointly with the National Sovereign party of Russia). (Pavel Mitrofanov (born 1969) was on the federal list of candidates from the "Stalin bloc - for the USSR" in the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation in 1999 in the Western region.

Later it turned out that the reason for initiating the case was the distribution P. Mitrofanov June 5, 2006 in front of the hotel "Astoria" on St. Isaac's Square Petersburg, a number of publications of a racist and xenophobic nature (including materials of the Conceptual Party "Unity", RNU, etc.). Subsequently, all the materials confiscated from P. Mitrofanov were recognized as extremist.
