On July 31, 2006, the Magistrate's Court of the Central Administrative District of Novorossiysk recognized the editor and publisher of the newspaper Za Rus! Sergei Putintsev (head of the combat Cossack detachment "Thunder" and signatory of the anti-Semitic "Letter of Five Hundred") guilty of an administrative offense under Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation: issue 2 of the newspaper "For Rus!", published by S. Putintsev, depicted symbols confusingly similar to racist. Putintsev was sentenced to a fine of 1,000 rubles with the confiscation of the number.
Despite the fact that Putintsev pleaded not guilty and tried to prove to the court that the newspaper published "Slavic-Aryan symbols that have been used in Russia since ancient times" and has nothing to do with fascist, the gesture of a man with a raised hand cannot be regarded as a greeting members of the NDAAP, and two parallel lightning bolts are symbols of the "Strells of Perun", the court, having considered the testimony of experts, found the editor's guilt proven.
Reference : Sergei Putintsev is a retired KGB major, one of the veterans of right-wing radical ("national-patriotic") organizations. The leader of the dwarf neo-pagan organization of the right-wing radical "Fatherland".
Back in 1996, "Fatherland" became the Novorossiysk branch of the so-called "Russian National Liberation Movement" ( RNOD ), whose leader is the editor-in-chief of the newspaper "For the Russian Cause" Oleg Gusev (recall, the newspaper has a warning from the prosecutor's office for inciting ethnic hatred). The paramilitary unofficial structure of the RNOD is the Grom detachment, organized according to the principle set out in the DPNI call of April 20, 2005 on the creation of mobile armed detachments: 45 people with military and sports training are divided into groups of 5 people, equipped with a car and mobile communications . It should be noted that there is at least one criminal case related to a violent crime, the guilt of which was proven by a member of the RNOD .
According to right-wing publications, S. Putitsev is currently under investigation in a criminal case under Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (incitement of national hatred).
