On August 27, 2006 in Yaroslavl before the football match "Shinnik" - CSKA five fans of both teams attacked the Hare Krishnas and started a brawl.
The participants in the incident were taken to the Kirovskoye District Department of Internal Affairs of Yaroslavl, but they were released because the victims refused to write statements and undergo a medical examination.
It is reported that the attackers belong to nationalist groups, one of them was found by police officers to have a tattoo in the form of a swastika.
