On the night of September 5-6, an arson attempt was again made in Kondopoga (Karelia). Unknown people tried to set fire to the building of the sports school, which temporarily houses families of immigrants from Central Asia. Firefighters managed to prevent the spread of fire - only the wall of the building was damaged. There were no casualties. Police suspect two local residents of setting the fire. According to one version, the reason for the arson could be that one of the school's coaches came from the Caucasus.
Meanwhile, this action is very reminiscent of a planned provocation, especially against the background of rumors spread among the local population the day before that Chechen migrants threaten to set up a "second Beslan" in Kondopoga.
Recall that the previous night in the city, local residents tried to set fire to the store, the day before, firefighters had to put out the restaurant.
