100 hours of correctional labor for the ideas of Russianism

On August 25, 2006, 21-year-old Maxim Teplov was convicted in Yekaterinburg for publishing extremist materials on the Internet. He was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 282 (inciting ethnic hatred) and "for illegal exploitation of the Internet space" was sentenced to 100 hours of compulsory labor. The decision was made by the Oktyabrsky District Court of Yekaterinburg. The verdict came into force.

Teplov, being one of the active members of the party that preaches ideas of a nationalist nature, in the period from December 2004 to March 2005 created a website for his party, on which he posted various materials and literature calling for to incite hatred against people on the grounds of race, nationality and origin" . The materials listed in the statement of the prosecutor's office allow us to conclude that the convict was a member of the National People's Party of Alexander Ivanov (Sukharevsky). Among the materials, in particular, are named "Towards an understanding of racism" (probably referring to Ivanov (Sukharevsky's) article "Towards an understanding of Russianism" - ed. ), "The program for the maximum construction of a Russian society", "Our Idea", "Our Cross" and etc.
