Orthodox believers in Voronezh began collecting signatures under an appeal to the patriarch. The reason was the permission of the mayor's office for the construction of the building of the regional court near the Intercession Cathedral. Parishioners fear that digging a foundation pit on a hill could damage the retaining wall of the temple. This wall supports the area where the cathedral itself and the temple buildings are located.
