On October 10, 2006 (previously it was reported that the murder occurred on October 2), a citizen of Kyrgyzstan Azamat Anarbaev was killed in Moscow, near the Chertanovskaya metro station. The body of a man with 42 stab wounds was found in the courtyard of a kindergarten on Balaklava Avenue. As the investigation established, the murdered man worked as a janitor at the housing office.
The investigation considered several versions of what happened, including murder motivated by national hatred.
Two people were detained on suspicion of committing a crime.
In October 2007, the attacking skinheads (S. Beryakov, minor S.) were sentenced . On December 18, 2007, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation considered the cassation appeals of the convicted and left the verdict unchanged.
