On October 9, 2006, in Nizhny Novgorod, at an operational meeting in the mayor's office, the head of the administration of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Tatyana Bespalova, announced the increasing incidence of attacks by skinheads on foreign citizens in the center of the city.
T. Bespalova reported on the last two incidents. On October 6, at about 10:00 pm, skinheads attacked two students from the Nizhny Novgorod Technical University from Cameroon at the Black Pond. On October 8, there was a big fight near the fountain near the concert hall "Jupiter" with the participation of builders from Turkey and "informal youth". Law enforcement officers reacted in time and prevented large-scale riots, the head of the district administration noted.
Earlier, following a number of news agencies, we reported on an attack on October 8 on two Turkish citizens, committed just in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Perhaps the head of the district administration reported the same case.
