Will State Duma deputies lead the Russian March?

On October 20, 2006, the organizers of the Russian March announced the self-dissolution of the Organizing Committee and the transfer of its functions to the Public Council in support of the Russian March.

The Council included, among others, 7 deputies of the State Duma, including Dmiriy Rogozin, Viktor Alksnis, Boris Vinogradov, Andrei Savelyev, Irina Savelyeva from the Motherland faction and Nikolai Kuryanovich, Ivan Musatov from the LDPR faction.
