A criminal case has been initiated in Stavropol under Article 282 of the Criminal Code

The prosecutor's office of the Leninsky district of Stavropol initiated a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (incitement of national hatred) in connection with the discovery on the facades of a number of buildings along Lenin Street and Oktyabrskaya Revolyutsii Avenue inscriptions of a nationalist and anti-Semitic nature, made with paint, as well as swastikas.

The case was initiated based on the results of a linguistic examination, which confirmed the presence of nationalist aggression and calls for violence on ethnic grounds in these inscriptions.
