Murder of homeless people in Khimki

On the night of November 22, 2006 in the city of Khimki (Moscow region) unknown people killed the homeless.

In the city center on Mayakovsky Street, the bodies of five murdered men were found, without a fixed place of residence. Another woman with a head injury was hospitalized. According to the expert's conclusion, death was caused by a blow with a hard blunt object (presumably beaten with a sapper shovel).

The attackers acted clearly and harmoniously, the residents of the house did not hear any noise or screams. The detectives investigating the crime believe that the attack was carried out by a large group of skinheads.

A criminal case was initiated under paragraph "a" part 2 of article 105 ("murder of two or more persons") and part 3 30 part 1 105 ("attempted murder") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The case is being investigated by the Khimki city prosecutor's office.

An investigative group has been created. The investigation is considering several versions of what happened. One of the priorities is the version of the murder out of hooligan motives by a group of people (local teenagers), which does not contradict the version of the attack by skinheads at all.
