The head of the Lipetsk diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church warns residents of the region about the “onslaught of preachers of modern occult and neo-pagan sects”

The ruling bishop of the Lipetsk diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church, Bishop of Lipetsk and Yelets Nikon (Vasin) addressed the residents of the region. According to the bishop, "the onslaught of preachers of modern occult and neo-pagan sects continues to intensify in the region," Blagovest-info reports .

"Mormons, Moonies, the Church of Christ, the New Apostolic Church, as stated in the text of the document, "parasite on the Christian Scriptures, disguising their false teaching under the semblance of Christianity."

Other new religious movements "are trying to deny the religious nature of their teachings", while calling themselves health practices, environmental associations and even political parties.
