The court rejected the NBP's claim against FEOR

On November 27, 2006, the Presnensky Court of Moscow rejected the claim of the leader of the National Bolshevik Party (NBP) Eduard Limonov against the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia (FEOR) for the protection of honor and dignity, in which the head of the NBP demanded to refute the unreliable, in his opinion, information contained in FEOR’s letter to the Strasbourg court (August 2006), in which the organization he heads is called “neo-fascist.”

Eduard Limonov, commenting on the court verdict in favor of FEOR, said that he was outraged by this decision and considered it “illegal.” According to E. Limonov’s lawyer Vitaly Varivoda, the “Limonovites” intend to appeal the decision of the Presnensky District Court in the Moscow City Court.
