A congress of nationalists was held in Moscow

On December 10, 2006, the VII Congress of the Russian National Union (RONS) took place in Moscow. The congress was attended by deputy Nikolai Kuryanovich , elected co-chairman of the Union of the Russian People (SRN), expelled from the Liberal Democratic Party , leaders of the Patriotic Resources Ring, representatives of a number of Russian national-patriotic organizations.

I. Artyomov, Chairman of the National Council of the RONS, spoke at the congress, briefly acquainted the audience with the report of the Board and expressed his vision of the main areas of work in the near future. The leitmotif of his speech was the thesis about the need to move from the development of models of the Russian National State to their practical implementation.

The congress adopted resolutions "On the Creation of Russian Mutual Assistance Structures" and "On Youth Policy" , amendments to the charter of the RONS and changes were made to the composition of the National Council. It is possible that the amendments to the charter of the organization are connected with an attempt to renew the registration. Recall that the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation RONS refused to register with the Ministry, because. the word "Russian" is used in its name.
