Sunday Adelaja is banned from entering Russia

On December 6, the Meshchansky Court of Moscow refused to satisfy the application of the Protestant pastor Sunday Adelaja, who challenged the actions of the Border Service of the FSB of the Russian Federation.

During the court session, a representative of the FSB said that the FSB had come to the conclusion that it was undesirable for a Protestant pastor to stay in Russia. Based on subclause 1 clause 1 of Art. 27 of the federal law of September 15, 1996 "On the procedure for leaving the Russian Federation and entering the Russian Federation", a decision was made to ban S. Adelaja from entering Russia "in order to ensure the defense capability and security of the state."
