A 16-year-old native of Armenia was murdered in Moscow. On the morning of January 19, 2007, at house 45 on the street. Kastanaevskaya, the body of 7th grade student Artur Martirosyan was found with a stab wound to the left half of the chest. The teenager was registered in the city of Tomilino near Moscow and lived in Moscow in a rented apartment with his parents since 2003.
On the fact of what happened, law enforcement agencies of the capital initiated a criminal case under Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder). A backpack with textbooks of the deceased and other items that are being examined for fingerprints of a possible killer were seized from the scene. The police have not yet reported on possible versions and motives for the crime.
