Attack on the Mormon office in Samara

On the night of January 6-7, a group of young people, according to the website of the Eurasian Youth Union, "very similar to the attack aircraft of the Samara regional branch of the ECM," attacked the building of the Mormon representation. The attackers smashed the windows and threw several smoke bombs inside.

ECM spokesman Alexander Bovdunov said that the organization would continue to attack "sectarians" because "acts of vandalism are extremely important for building sovereign democracy and a healthy civil society in Russia."

According to the same site, in the summer of 2005 a Pentecostal protest in Moscow was also crushed by people "similar to ESM activists."
