A. Kashpirovsky demands to initiate a criminal case against the Ufa Archbishop

Anatoly Kashpirovsky appealed to the prosecutor's office of the Republic of Bashkortostan with a demand to initiate a criminal case against Archbishop Nikon (Vasyukov) of Ufa and Sterlitamak. The psychic accuses the bishop of "gross insult" and "knowingly false denunciation." In addition, the applicant demanded an "examination of the water used by the diocese of Ufa and Sterlitamak under the direction of Nikon for various 'consecrations', and especially for the baptism of infants".

“The purpose of the check is to exclude the presence of the deadly poison MTBEZH (methyl tert-butyl ether) in the water used by the priests. any consecration, as well as baptism with water without special filters," the statement said.

The reason for the statement was the appeal of Archbishop Nikon to the Kalinin District Department of Internal Affairs in November 2006. The statement said that "the well-known occultist and charlatan Anatoly Kashpirovsky will conduct his mass 'healing' sessions from November 23 to December 2."

A. Kashpirovsky was offended by the fact that he was called an "occultist" and "charlatan", and also accused of illegal trade in "healing items".

On January 17, Bishop Nikon was summoned to the prosecutor's office of the Kalininsky district, where he refuted the accusations of the psychic. The diocese suggests that Kashpirovsky was denied a criminal case, because. for a month after the summons of the archbishop, the prosecutor's office did not take any action.

On March 15, 2007, the Kalinin Prosecutor's Office of Ufa refused to open a criminal case.
