Neo-Nazis staged a provocation at Bilingua

On February 26, 2007, in the Bilingua club, the political debates between Yulia Latynina and Maxim Kononenko were turned by 15-20 activists of the National Socialist Society (NSO) and the neo-Nazi organization Format-18 into a fascist action with slogans and threats.

The Nazis did not become active immediately, but at the end of the second round, when the Format-18 leader Maxim Martsinkevich (nicknamed Tesak) entered into a debate with the main participants in the debate. He demanded a microphone from the host and, when he was refused, he began to shout to the whole hall that "Negroes ... were killed and will be killed" and threatened to "hange all liberals . " "Companions", located on the balcony and in the aisle, supported Tesak with a long chant "Zig Heil!" and throwing up hands in a fascist salute. Judging by the reports of the Nazis in LiveJournal, the provocation in Bilingua was prepared in advance, although it did not have a clear plan.

The police, which was called by a mobile phone by one of the spectators, at first did not respond to the call at all. After several repeated calls, law enforcement officers nevertheless arrived at the club, but no one was detained - the neo-Nazis calmly left the hall. The head of security only expressed bewilderment how 20 skinheads got into the club, suggesting that they "entered one by one" .

It should be noted that earlier neo-Nazis came to debates in "Bilingua" only as a support group for nationalist participants (A. Belov or N. Kuryanovich). This time they were not invited, and they not only came to the debate, but also carried out their illegal action there with impunity.
