MANPADS "Rus" were not registered

On March 5, 2007, the Federal Registration Service refused to register the Party for the Defense of the Russian Constitution "Rus" (MANPADS "Rus"), created on the initiative of a number of fairly well-known right-wing activists in the past, including from the RNU.

In the official refusal addressed to Yuri Vasin (LINK), it is reported that the reason for the refusal to register was the failure to provide all the documents necessary for registration and the discrepancy in the data provided (discrepancy in the data on the number of delegates to the founding congress, the presence of minors among the party members, etc.) .

On March 16, the leadership of the Rus MANPADS tried to appeal the refusal on jurisdiction - to the Ministry of Justice, which is not provided for by law.

After receiving a response from the Ministry of Justice (April 2), the decision of Rosregistration was appealed by the leadership of the Rus MANPADS in court.
