In Irkutsk, the police prevented a sanctioned NBP picket. All those who had gathered were registered by police officers, and two were detained and taken to the Oktyabrsky district police department. The detention was motivated by the use of extremist symbols (the picketers were holding NBP flags, imperial black-yellow-white and the slogan "Nation and Freedom".
No formal charges were brought against the detainees.
