In Moscow, unknown persons fired a blowgun at evangelical Christians who came to Sunday worship.

On April 15, unknown persons fired at evangelical Christians who came to Sunday worship in Moscow, the press service of the Slavic Legal Center reports . The believers gathered in a building belonging to the Bethesda-House of Mercy Christian Brotherhood (part of the Council of Christian Evangelical Churches in Russia). Members of two other communities, members of the Union of Evangelical Christian Baptists and headed by pastor Alexander Fedichkin, also hold their meetings here - the Love of Christ Church and the Lublin Local Church of Evangelical Christians.

“When some believers left one service, while others went to the second service,” the SOC reports, “shots were fired from above from the second floor at those people who were in front of the entrance to the church building. As Alexander Fedichkin emphasized, drunken young people fired from a blowgun When they demanded to stop shooting, they began to threaten church members, calling them "sectarians", saying that they know what school the pastor's children go to, etc. As a result of the shooting, one parishioner of the church was wounded - he was hit in the leg and hit a vein, after which he was taken to the hospital, where he was X-rayed and stitched in. The believers called the police on 911, who took the testimony and accepted a statement on initiating a criminal case."

The SOC also recalls that earlier, in August 2005 , the Sunday service in the church "Bethesda-House of Mercy" at st. 11th Tekstilshchikov, 4 was already interrupted as a result of interference from outside - then the premises were sealed by officials of the Tekstilshchikov administration and employees of the local police department.
