On April 20, 2007 in Moscow, at the entrance of one of the houses on Ostrovityanova Street, four skinheads attacked a native of Ulan-Ude.
The reason for the attack was the non-Slavic appearance of the victim, whom the thugs celebrating Hitler's birthday began to provoke into a fight. The leader of the group, nicknamed Ares, armed with a knife and a metal club, began to beat the victim in the elevator car. The beating continued when the elevator stopped and the man was pushed onto the landing.
The victim was saved by an accident - despite the late time (about two o'clock in the morning), someone entered the entrance and frightened off the attackers.
The victim was hospitalized at the Sklifosovsky Institute with multiple bruises and stab wounds and underwent several operations.
The four attackers were soon apprehended, but only two of them were charged. In August 2007, the case was transferred to the Cheryomushkinsky Court of Moscow.
It should be noted that the very fact of the attack became known only at the end of August from a message about the transfer of the case to court.
