In principle, for the church, from its point of view, there is nothing wrong with participating in this. She is close to the state, she is skeptical about traditional human rights protection - both to people and to concepts, so this is a movement that is largely designed to supplant traditional human rights protection and is therefore objectively socially harmful, according to church concepts, not harmful, but useful.

Elections are primarily a race for votes, so the first question is: can the support of a particular politician or party by a religious leader bring additional votes? Of course, you can’t look into the voter’s soul, but the experience of previous elections shows that the direct effect of such support is very small.

The SOVA Information and Analytical Center took part in the OSCE conference on Islamophobia, held in Cordoba. On October 9, SOVA presented its speech on the situation in Russia.
