By decision of the Pervomaisky District Court of the city of Omsk, the leader of the Omsk rock band "Order" Alexei Gavrilov was recognized as a person carrying out extremist activities. This was reported on June 4, 2007 by the press service of the prosecutor's office of the Omsk region.
Recall that in November 2006, at the request of the Omsk prosecutor, the court, based on the conclusion of a linguistic examination, recognized the album "Music of the Whites" by the "Order" group as extremist and included it in the federal list of materials prohibited for distribution in the territory of the Russian Federation.
According to the prosecutor's office, the leader of the rock band, A. Gavrilov, wrote the lyrics and music for most of the album's songs, repeatedly tried to distribute the album's circulation, offering it for sale to audio recording sellers. In addition, the leader of the group repeatedly performed these songs, performing together with other groups of the Omsk rock club at the Zvezdny Palace of Culture for Students and Youth.
To eliminate violations of the law, the prosecutor's office submitted a submission to the head of the department of culture of the administration of the city of Omsk, as a result of which the director of the MUK "DKSM" Zvezdny" was brought to disciplinary responsibility.
In 2007, A. Gavrilov was checked to see if he had organized an extremist community, however, according to its results, criminal proceedings against A. Gavrilov were denied. The Omsk prosecutor's office sent a statement of claim to the civil court, which was considered on March 1, 2007. Based on the court decision, A. Gavrilov was recognized as a person carrying out extremist activities. The decision of the court entered into force. Unfortunately, we do not know the wording of the court's decision. A press release from the prosecutor's office states that Aleksey Gavrilov has been banned from participation (founding, membership) in any public association. We remind you that such a ban is not a court decision, but a consequence of recognizing a person as an extremist.
