On the night of June 2, unknown people desecrated and set fire to the chapel in the name of the Nativity of the Virgin in the Krasnogvardeisky district of St. Petersburg. The vandals threw a Molotov cocktail and left the inscription "Glory to Hitler!" on one of the walls of the building.
No serious damage was done to the chapel: the door and a fragment of the wall were partially burned. Shards of a bottle were found nearby.
An investigation has been launched into the vandalism.
