In June 2007, the American human rights organization Human Rights First published a report on hate crimes in 2006-2007. in the countries of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
The study of human rights defenders includes an overview of the situation in 56 OSCE countries, located on the territory from the Russian Far East and the countries of Central Asia to North America.
The purpose of the study is to document racist crimes and analyze the factors and forms of the emergence and manifestation of racism and intolerance.
