On June 27, 2007, Russian Interior Minister Rashid Nurgaliyev said in an interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta that the internal affairs bodies in Russia had identified about 98,000 teenagers "included in antisocial, extremist and other groups."

R.Nuglaliev said that 302 informal youth associations are registered, including more than 10 thousand people.
