On July 22, 2007 at 18:00 in St. Petersburg, on the Griboedov Canal, about 8-10 unknown persons attacked 16-year-old Alexander. The victim, in the company of other young people, was heading to the Belgrade club for a punk music concert. The attacking young people were dressed as "football hooligans" . The victim's brother believes that the attackers were neo-Nazis. Judging by the cries, Alexander was attacked because of a patch on his backpack, giving him out as a fan of the punk band Komatoz.
The teenager received a concussion, hematoma of the head. The ambulance arrived 40 minutes later. There is no information about the initiation of a criminal case yet.
The groups that performed at the Belgrade club are popular among anti-fascists, and most of those who gathered for the concert were from their number. The event also raised funds to help the family of an anti-fascist who died during an attack on an environmental camp near Angarsk.
